The 2010 Cathy Heifetz Memorial Concert

Drawing to close an exciting 2009-2010 season, the University of Chicago Symphony Orchestra, University Chorus, Motet Choir, and members of the Rockefeller Chapel Choir present Johannes Brahms’ eloquent Ein deutsches Requiem and Howard Hanson’s stirring Symphony No. 4 "Requiem" (1943), for which the composer won the Pulitzer Prize in Music. Soprano Kimberly Jones and baritone Jeffrey Ray perform as guest soloists. Barbara Schubert and James Kallembach conduct.

The first performance was given on 29 May 2010.
